Train and Get Fit with Group Exercise Classes at the Drayson Center

Group exercise classes are a fun and challenging alternative to regular weight training and cardio exercise. We have classes for every skill level. Come meet new people, while improving your health, in a fun and friendly environment. All group exercise classes, with the exception of cycling, are included with your Drayson Center membership. Please note that all classes and times are subject to change.

Aerobics Classes

B.A.T.S
Buns! Abs! Thighs! is a fast-paced, high-energy class which targets buns, abs, thighs, and cardiovascular endurance. This is an advanced-level class not recommended for those new to group fitness classes.

Beginner Stretching Exercise - Powered by PossAbilities
Stretch and exercise with other members of PossAbilities. Train with instructor Master John Kim from the World Special Federation.

Body Condition
Weight training class designed for all levels, including a full body workout.
Tuesday 5:30 - 6:00 p.m. Studio A
 

 

Body Works
Body Works is a low-impact, designed to strengthen and tone all major muscle groups using hand weights and steps. This class can be modified for all levels.

Pilates
Pilates concentrates on using fewer (but more controlled) movements to uniformly develop the body.

Step and Sculpt
Intermediate intensity step aerobics and sculpting is for those wishing to tone and reshape the body.

Vinyasa Flow
Vinyasa Flow combines strength, balance and endurance for a complete body workout. It combines body movements with breath transition between sustained traditional Yoga postures.
Tuesday/Thursday 8:00 - 9:00 p.m. Studio A

 

Yoga-style Stretch
Yoga-style Stretch incorporates toning, stretching and posture-strengthening techniques borrowed from Yoga, Pilates and dance conditioning.
Wednesday 7:30 - 8:30 p.m. Studio A

 

Zumba
Zumba features interval training sessions where fast and slow rhythms and resistance training are combined to tone and sculpt your body.
Thursday 7:00 - 8:00 p.m. Studio A

Cycling Classes

These stationary bike classes are the perfect way to start your everyday routine. These classes are offered on a first come, first serve basis.

Senior Aerobics

Basic Interval Training
This class consists of combining aerobic floor work with free weight training alternating the two, creating a great workout for the whole body.

Chair Aerobics
This class is full of energy and fun. It is designed for participation while sitting; light weights and therabands are used to increase strength.

Freestyle Aerobics
This class emphasizes aerobic fitness, flexibility, strength, balance and posture.

Silver Fox Aerobics
Low impact aerobics, free weight training, floor work and stretching exercises for a great workout.

Step and Strength
Moderate intensity step warm-up followed by light-weight training, floor work and gentle stretching.

Total Body Work Out
Using low-impact movements, this class emphasizes aerobic fitness, flexibility, strength, balance and posture.

Yoga
This gentle invigorating workout incorporates toning, stretching and posture-strengthening techniques.

Gentle Yoga
This extra gentle introduction to yoga incorporates toning, stretching and posture-strengthening techniques.

Water Aerobics

Water Aerobics (All Water Aerobics will be Cancelled December 2017-February 2018)
A low-impact, moderate intensity workout in our heated pool that gives you a unique way to exercise while having fun.

Moms on the Move (April - October)

Offered by LLUCH's Birth and Beyond Education Center, this is a low impact aerobics class designed for women in all stages of pregnancy and early postpartum. Class is held in the shallow end of the lap pool (3-4ft deep) so no swimming experience is required. Contact Amber Young to register at amyoung@llu.edu before attending your first class.

Fee: $8 per class (no discount for Drayson Center members)
