Classes for All Fitness Levels
Loma Linda University Drayson Center offers a variety of low-impact classes for senior members that are included with membership. Classes are available for all fitness levels, and we encourage you to try new techniques to support strength, flexibility, and stability. These classes are open to all of our members and guests but are specifically designed with seniors in mind.
Aerobics Classes and Personal Training Designed with You in Mind
One class in particular—Chair Aerobics—is conducted entirely in a seated position with tension bands and hand weights. In general, the senior aerobic classes are taught at a more moderate pace to accommodate the physical challenges related to aging, but still provide a great workout. Personal trainers are also on staff who specialize in senior training and can help members design a fitness program that is personalized to their needs.
Seniors Wellness Membership
Seniors (age 65 and better) receive a special, discounted membership rate. Joining the Drayson Center is quick and easy—no contracts or initiation fees to worry about. In addition, some insurance companies cover gym memberships for seniors. Contact the Membership Office for details.
