Choose from more than 15 different intramural sports offered in the fall, winter and spring. Whether you want to join our popular basketball or flag football teams or try your hand at ultimate frisbee or inner tube water polo, the Drayson Center offers you fun ways to stay fit doing the activities you enjoy. Entry Fees

Student Team: No charge (Use Student Pay Package to waive your fees) | $70 forfeit fee 
Non-student Team: Entry fee varies by sport | $70 forfeit fee

A player fee of $25 will be applied to the Captain's IMLeagues Account for each non-student on a student team. If you do not wish to make your payment online please email Edwin Jones to have the fees charged to your Student Account. If you register a team and you drop out after schedules are posted, you will be charged a processing fee.

How to Register

  1. You must create an account on the Intramurals website to add a team to a league.
  2. Click invite on your team page to send an e-mail to all of your players so they can join your team.
  3. All players MUST creat an IMLeagues account to join your team. 

Each team member must accept the terms which include the "Release of Liability".

Fall (Begins in October)

Flag Football (men's, women's, co-rec)
This is a seven-on-seven, non-blocking football league. The defensive team must remove a flag or flag belt from the ball carrier to end a down.

Mid-Week Basketball (open)
A smaller, less competitive league during the off season for basketball.

Co-Rec Softball
Two teams play on a large field, with ten players from one team on the field at a time. Teams require five men and five women fielded at all times to compete.

Volleyball (men's, women's, co-rec)
Volleyball is a team sport in which two teams of six players try to score points by grounding a ball on the other team's court under organized rules.

Co-Rec Innertube Water Polo
Players compete sitting in inner tubes under modified water polo rules. No swimming skills required.

Floor Hockey
Similar to traditional hockey, players use sticks and a ball, rather than a puck, to score on the opposing team. Games are played in the basketball gym, no skates needed.

Winter (Begins in January)

Basketball (men's, women's, co-rec)
Basketball is a sport played by two teams of five players. For Co-Rec teams, a two to three ratio is required at all times to compete.

Co-Rec Volleyball
Volleyball is a team sport in which two teams of six players try to score points by grounding a ball on the other team's court under organized rules.

Full Field Soccer
Teams field eleven players at a time on a full soccer field. All players welcome.

Co-Rec Dodgeball
The main objective of each team is to eliminate all members of the opposing team by: hitting them with thrown balls, catching a ball thrown by a member of the opposing team, or forcing them to move outside the court boundaries when a ball is thrown at them.

Played on a shorter field, this league is open to all-female teams of at least seven players.

Co-Rec Short-field Soccer

Beach Volleyball (men's, co-rec)
This is a self-refereed league open to both men and women. Each team must have a minimum of two and maximum of four players.

Co-Rec Kickball
Players on the batting team kick an inflated rubber ball to advance players around the bases and thus score runs.

Co-Rec Ultimate Frisbee
This is a limited-contact team field sport played with a frisbee. Points are scored by passing the disc to a teammate in the opposing end zone.
