Loma Linda University Drayson Center's Senior Wellness Program kicked off the new year with a health presentation on Wednesday, February 20, at 11:30 a.m. in the Student Lounge. The presenter, Oyinade Elliott, a doctoral student in the LLU School of Public Health, spoke about "Health, Wellness, and Lifestyle Disease Prevention: A Holistic Approach."
Oyinade Elliott explores a wide variety of ways that seniors can improve their health and independence by applying certain wellness principles to their daily lives.
The next Senior Wellness Presentation will take place on Wednesday, February 20, at 11:30 a.m. in the Student Lounge. Tanya Frederick, who heads The Treatment Centre at Drayson Center—which provides medical massage and other wellness services, will present an "Intro to Essential Oils."
The Senior Wellness Series brings a variety of presenters to Drayson Center to cover a wide range of topics that impact seniors—from wellness to finances and MediCare.
