By Larry Kidder | During the coming holiday season, Drayson Center will be shutting down for some very good reasons that will benefit our members.
The entire Loma Linda University Drayson Center will close from Friday, December 22, through New Year's, reopening on Tuesday, January 2, 2024. While this closure is due to a campus-wide shutdown for all schools, faculty, and employees, Drayson Center is using this time to undertake some major refurbishing and updates.
Beginning on Monday, December 11, the weight and cardio rooms will be closed for some major work. Some of the cardio and weight room equipment will be redistributed throughout Drayson Center for your continued use, while other equipment will be temporarily stored. When you return on January 2, we believe you will be pleased with the results of our efforts.
As a reminder …
We will close one hour early at 2 p.m. on Friday, December 8.
Beginning on Monday, December 18, all areas with wood floors will be closed for the annual resurfacing. These areas will reopen on January 2.
Watch for new classes and programs beginning January 2.
Thank you for your patience and understanding as we undergo changes and improvements. Happy Holidays!
